Hi, I’m Angel – the co-owner and CEO of the 1 Oak Group.

I say 1 Oak Group like you know what that means – I’ll elaborate, 1 Oak is a group of companies dedicated to high quality care in various forms. 1 Oak Home Care is our first company that we opened in 2017 – we have an incredible team of carers, seniors and managers, I encourage this team of superstars to go above and beyond – always in all ways. Then we opened 1 Oak Daycentre as part of our group in 2019, this daycentre is a magical place that is managed by the one and only Jilly Vince – a lady who has my upmost respect. This year we decided to add another arm to the business and opened 1 Oak Community Meals – this is a non-profit CIC and is still in its infancy but growing quickly!

I am on the board of Trustees at Hourglass, a charity that is close to my heart as the sole purpose is to end the abuse of the elderly in the UK, something I am passionate about stomping out.

I am also a Board Member for the Steering Group for the Suffolk Care Association; this is a great local organisation that supports other care providers and advocates for independent care organisations.

A lot of my time is spent researching and looking at issues people face in relation to care and the solutions that are there. I am passionate about people getting the care and support that they need.
