Volunteering at 1 Oak
Volunteering has a massive impact on the community and is great fun to do!
We love having volunteers in our CIC and Daycentre and would love to welcome you.
Benefits to you:
- Volunteering is a great way to connect with others, make friends, and feel part of the community.
- Volunteering is linked to reduced anxiety, depression, and loneliness—especially when it’s on a consistent basis!
- Being part of a big project gives you a sense of achievement.
- Providing a service that may benefit you or a family member in the future is an amazing way to pay it forward ahead of time!
Whether you can offer to drive some lunches out in your local area, help in the kitchen or spend some time at the Chilton Club – we would love to hear from you!

Please note that some volunteer roles will require a DBS to be completed prior to volunteering. This will be explained to you in more detail - but it wont cost anything!
